Circular Ring 2 Release Notes (Oct 2025): Shipping Complete, Customer Support, Firmware Update
October was about one thing: finishing what we started.
Every Kickstarter backer trusted us months before Ring 2 physically existed. October was when that trust turned into a ring in their hands.
Shipping the Final Batches
By Week 5, we were down to 60 remaining orders, all going out that week. Getting every order out the door meant coordinating with fulfilment partners across different pledge tiers, tracking down backers who had updated their addresses months after the campaign, and making sure every size and color combination arrived sorted and ready to pack. Not simple, but we worked through it.
For 200 orders that needed extra attention on the PledgeBox side, we personally pulled every message, reviewed each case, and got them into the next shipment batch. No order left behind.
Fulfillment at this scale was more than logistics. When someone backed us during crowdfunding, they trusted us before the product existed. Finishing that commitment properly matters more than finishing it fast
Customer Support at Scale
12,000 conversations. 350 people reaching out every day. That's the size of the community we got to personally connect with in October.
Week 5 was a real milestone: for the first time since launch, we were closing more tickets than were coming in. The backlog started shrinking and kept going.
Every message was reviewed manually, oldest first. We kept responses personal and accurate rather than leaning on automation. It took longer, but that was the right call. The people writing in trusted us with their health data. They deserved real answers.
Firmware Improvements
October also brought firmware updates focused on sleep tracking reliability and precision.
Sleep tracking is genuinely complex. Ring 2 detects transitions between light sleep, deep sleep, and REM, and even small refinements in how those transitions are calculated make a real difference in accuracy. The October updates improved sleep cycle detection and strengthened the data pipeline that feeds into Kira AI.
Laying the Groundwork
Behind the scenes, our engineering team spent October preparing for something bigger: a full server infrastructure upgrade.
Ring 2 generates a lot more data than Ring 1. ECG, continuous stress monitoring, detailed sleep analysis, and women's health predictions all add up. We were building a system ready not just for thousands of users, but for millions.
October was fulfillment, stabilization, and groundwork. All three, at once.
