Features/Coins

The ring pays you back for wearing it.

Coins are the reward currency inside Circular. You earn them by wearing the ring, keeping streaks, finishing challenges and beating friends. They unlock Circles month by month, cover partner perks, and can be sent to anyone else on Circular. Four thousand coins is worth about €1, and you never have to buy any.

Your 30-day wear streak lands on Friday. That is 5,000 coins — a Cult Fit day pass, with change.

Earning

Four ways a balance grows.

None of them ask you to do anything you were not already doing with the ring on.

Wear itSync before 9am, log a workout over twenty minutes, finish the day's challenge. Small amounts, every day, with the total still available shown before midnight.
Keep a streakStreaks pay at milestones — a first 10,000-step day, a sleep score above 90, thirty days of wear without taking the ring off.
Beat someoneA coin duel is one friend, one week, one metric, and a 1,000-coin pot. Weekly leaderboards pay the top three out of a 6,000-coin pot.
Bring a friend5,000 coins each side once their ring is set up. Both of you, not just the person who sent the link.
Streaks and milestones

Milestones pay in something you can picture.

When a streak lands, the app tells you what the reward is actually worth — four months of a Circle, or a gym day pass with change. A coin figure on its own means nothing until you can spend it.

Sunday

A duel with Tom runs until Friday. Winner takes the 1,000-coin pot.

Leaderboards and duels

Friends are the reason people keep it on.

Leaderboards run weekly among people you have added — nobody is ranked against strangers. The top three split a 6,000-coin pot. A duel is narrower: one friend, one metric, one week, and a 1,000-coin pot to the winner.

You choose which metrics you appear on, and you can leave a board at any time without losing what you have already earned.

Group challenges

Or pull six people towards one number.

The Sunday Six: six friends, 300,000 combined steps, a 30,000-coin pot. Everyone splits it equally when the goal lands — 5,000 each — so the person having a bad week is carried rather than beaten.

01Set the goalPick the friends, the metric and the number. The pot scales with the size of the group.
02Watch the barEveryone sees each person's contribution, and can nudge the group without leaving the screen.
03Split the potThe coins land in every wallet at once. No placings, no losers, nothing withheld.
Spending

What a balance is actually for.

Four thousand coins is worth about €1, and the euro value sits under every figure in the app. Coin packs exist if you want to top up before a gift, but the balance is designed to be earned.

Unlock a Circle12,000 to 16,000 coins for one month, depending on the Circle. Recurring, and you can stop any month.
Gift a Circle to someone12,000 coins for one month. They keep it for the full period, and you can cancel before it starts.
ThemesFrom 4,000 coins. Sandstone is the default; Terracotta and Midnight are the paid ones.
Badges and stickers1,500 and 800 coins. Cosmetic only — they change nothing about what the ring measures.
Send coins to another memberFree, any amount, with a note. It arrives as a receipt card in their feed.
Partner dealsCoupons from brands, redeemed with coins and stored in your wallet with a code and an expiry date.
Vital alerts are free for everyone.

If your resting heart rate has been elevated for three days, the ring tells you. That is a safety feature, so it is not sold in coins and it is not behind a plan — on every ring, from the first night.

Questions

The obvious ones.

No. Every coin in the examples above is earned by wearing the ring. Packs exist for people who want to top up before gifting, and that is the only reason they exist.

Four thousand coins is about €1, or roughly a dollar. The app shows the local value under every figure, so you are never converting in your head.

The ring measures everything it measures on every ring. Some Circles — the deeper analysis screens around a topic — can be unlocked with coins month by month. Vital alerts are free for everyone.

Yes, free, at any amount, with a note attached. You can also gift a Circle for a month rather than sending the coins themselves.

Daily earnings stop and streaks reset, which is the point of a streak. The balance you have already earned is not affected by a gap in wear.
